psilocybin got me onto the spiritual path
my first trip
i did it with tim leary and allen ginsberg
we were in the kitchen in tim’s house
but the talking was too much for me
and so i went into the living room
which was dark
i sat down with the couch
i thought
i have my body at least
but i looked down
there was the couch
there was no me sitting on the couch
there was no body
no roles
no body
then i sensed in me a place of love
and i said
i’m home
i was going into spiritual planes of consciousness
i had never done that before
i’m home
