While East Forest and Peter Broderick kept intensely focused on writing and recording for most of their short week together in Ireland, East Forest’s partner Radha spent much of her time exploring the surrounding area, in part looking for ancient holy wells. These wells are plentiful in rural Ireland, and Radha was pleasantly surprised when she stumbled upon a hidden one in a neighboring field, just outside of the cabin where they stayed. She promptly invited Krishna (aka East Forest) and Broderick to come and check it out, leading them to a circle of trees that enclosed this ancient source of pure water. After communing with the water, imbibing it, and recording its gentle trickle, the two artists went back to the cabin and wrote this simple interlude which centers around piano and nylon string guitar — while drinking the pristine water!
